Elbit Medical Imaging sells shopping malls to Dawnay Day

Plaza Centers, a shopping mall company owned by Israel’s Elbit Medical Imaging, has sold the last four of its malls in Hungary to the UK’s Dawnay Day Group, a property investment and financial services company, for EUR 16.7m. Elbit Medical Imaging announced the transaction on Monday.

Budapest is running out of free office space - Budapest Research Forum

The fourth quarter of 2005 saw limited market activity compared to the earlier quarters with the take-up of 55,731 sqm. However, it is again higher than recorded in the previous years, the Budapest Research Forum reported on Thursday.

Sidijk plans to build billion-forint foam factory in Pecs

Budapest, January 3, 2005 (MTI-ECONEWS) - Sidijk, a Dutch maker of air- and foam-filled products used in sporting events and for children’s play, has decided to spend several billion forints to build a factory in Hungary, probably in Pecs (SW Hungary), business daily Napi Gazdasag reported on Tuesday.
