Shopping malls and offices to offer lower returns

According to Napi Gazdaság, a recent Cushman &Wakefield Healey & Baker (CWHB) report says prospective returns on office space and shopping malls were at historic lows in Q1.

Office space market saturated

A strange and contradictory situation has developed on the real estate market: While demand for living space is diminishing, sellers act as though they notice nothing. Homeowners have yet to see the situation as all bad. Though somewhat fewer are planning to move or remodel their homes than in the first quarter, families remain much more active when comparing this year’s figures to those of last year.

Loft Offices - Eccentric and Efficient

The word “loft� comes from an ancient Anglo-Saxon term meaning ‘lift’ or ‘raise’. The dictionary provides the following definition: “open space on the upper floor of a house, directly below the roof�. In older times, the word ‘attic’ (‘Attica’ = ‘the highest’) was a synonym for loft, but recently the two words have grown increasingly different in meaning, especially in connection with facilities (primarily industrial) that have been converted into flats and offices. Today, the idea associated with ‘loft’ is a clear reference to areas utilised in a rational way.

Real estate companies Biggeorge’s Property Management and NV Property Management have set up a joint venture. Biggeorge’s-NV, owned 50-50 by the two companies, will manage 18 property development projects worth around Ft 30 billion.
