WPR Primus purchased the former Hungarian Post Office headquarters at Moszkva tÃ©r, Magyar Posta spokesman TamÃ¡s TolmecskÃ³ announced.
The winning price was slightly over the Ft 4 billion asking price, he added. It was the state-owned firm’s second tender to sell the building.
WPR Primus was founded in October 2007 and is owned by Cyprus-registered offshore company Arsida Investments. WPR Primus is related to the Wallis group, online media reported.
Magyar Posta has moved its headquarters to the Gateway building near Ã?rpÃ¡d bridge in Budapest’s 13th District.
